Melody is an original hand-cut paper artwork by Wei Chen, inspired by the rhythm, movement and shared experience of music.
A continuous musical stave stretches across the composition, while a lively row of hand-cut figures creates a playful sense of movement beneath the notes. The contrast of black paper against the light background gives the piece a strong yet delicate silhouette.
Each piece is carefully cut by hand and signed by the artist.
